This post will be a "photo dump" of all the videos and pictures I captured
this April 2022. It's such a good reminder that I live in a beautiful city and
can stop and smell the flowers.

Jomar and I will have our Philippine Catholic wedding in July. To enlighten those who want to have their Sacrament of Holy Matrimony in the beautiful and historic Manila Cathedral, I will share with you how much it cost. Why did we pick Manila Cathedral? I want to say that because it's historic and beautiful. But honestly, it's because Manila Cathedral has relevant information on their website for a couple like us living and already legally married abroad. Ms. Donna also responds to our emails and calls promptly. The bonus is it's historic and beautiful. According to one of my Ninang, " ang haba ng walk down the aisle mo ." I didn't think of that. I'm not sure if I like it. LOL. They also have a dashboard where you complete the forms, and it lists what you need to submit and when. It's pretty impressive. Wedding Preparation Step 1. Yay! We're flying again, and it's our first flight and vacation outside of British Columbia since our trip to the Philippines in 2019. I woke up at 2:00 AM to shower and finalize our things, and by 3:30 AM, we were off to Vancouver International Airport. We grabbed breakfast from Green Bean Cafe since they're the only one open after security before 5:00 AM. We boarded the plane before 6:00 AM, and we were off! Mountain peaks peeking through the clouds. I can see the flatlands of the prairies. I had more pictures, but they're not good because the window is dirty. But I'm just grateful to be flying again and have a chance to see this thing. As we descended to Toronto, we saw the famous CN Tower from afar and above. This is the best picture I can take through the dirty airpla...
Summer officially began on June 21, the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. The first summer weekend is busy, and we're blessed with beautiful sunny weather. Friday: Road Trip to White Rock, BC The weekend began when we took a drive from Vancouver to South Surrey, BC. It's my penultimate Friday at my current work. After dropping off company-issued devices (laptop, monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc.), we drove to White Rock, BC. The sun illuminated the horizon, and it was low-tide, exposing the rocky seafloor filled with people sunbathing. Thank God for the beautiful scenery. Canada's Longest Pier is at White Rock, BC Canada We indulged in a delicious dinner at a local restaurant, Charlie Don't Surf , then grabbed a scoop of gelato from Maya's before returning home. Saturday: Immersed in Filipino Culture at the Pinoy Festival We woke up late and had...
