About

Celine's Life Adventure is exactly that. A narration of my little adventures and misadventures (most of the time with my boyfriend +Jomar Tigcal). It is a story of those weekends and days that I find myself doing new things, visiting new places, or trying out new food. It is a random and a personal narration of my experiences in a place or restaurant and with the people I've met along the way.

I was bitten by the travel bug in the year 2010. I started working September of that year and was part of a team outing that opened my eyes to the possibilities with traveling. At first, I just wanted to share with the world this picture of the sunset I luckily captured in San Fernando City, La Union. Then, we visited so many places in Baguio City and I took so many photos that I wanted to show the world. I wanted a personal space where I could share those photos without flooding the timeline of my friends in the different social media platforms. The result of that is this blog.

The blog that started with the hope of sharing some photos with the world has now more stories, more memories, more photos and more experiences in it. In the past years, I've met wonderful people, saw places I just dream about, and tried out food in all the best places. I have grown as a person and as a traveler. My journey is just beginning and I hope to continue traveling as long as I can.

I guess that's it for now! Thank you for reading through this page and I pray that you find what you're looking for.

When I stopped following job search advice, I found work!

Immigrating to a new country is never easy. The culture shock, temperature changes, and being unemployed are just some of the many things one would experience when moving to a new country.

In my case, I immigrated to Canada from Philippines. Not much culture shock since Philippines was heavily influenced by the Americans but the temperature change from hot to cold was something my body still needs adjusting to. The most difficult challenge of all (at least for me) was being unemployed.

I was happy with my career at Philippines. I work with amazing people (hello QSR team!) and I love what I do - training and helping schools use Google Apps in the classroom, is a rewarding thing to do. I am not talking about the monetary reward but more on the fulfillment of working with teachers and their professional growth.

When I arrive in Canada, I was obviously unemployed. It was tough. I was so confident that I'll be able to find work right away but I didn't. I am lucky, though, that my p…

Review of Joy Bus: The Deluxe Coach of Genesis Transport, Inc.

During my trip to Baguio last March 2, 2013, Jomar and I (as recommended by friends) decided to try the Joy Bus of Genesis. We went to the bus terminal the day before just to make sure we have a ticket going to Baguio and asked for the cell phone number of the person to contact in Baguio so we could reserve our returning ticket. Reservation Number in Baguio 0906-591-6011. She doesn't reply though.
