Food Trip in Maginhawa: Cafe Quezon

Cafe Quezon is a little cafe along Maginhawa Street. +Jomar and I had desserts here after our lunch in Katsu Cafe. We even managed to watch two episodes of Detective Conan.

Below is our very delicious dessert: Dinuldol (sliced banana) and Fried Suman.

DoorDash is my go to app because of the Group Order feature. I just have to pick a restaurant, click Group Order, and send the generated link to my colleagues so they can add their order. Canada Day 2023

Happy Canada Day! Our celebration began last night when we had dinner at the only Indigenous restaurant in Vancouver, Salmon n' Bannock. We enjoyed Elk Steak and Bison Soup, among other dishes. Today, our day started with breakfast at Tim Hortons. It's as cliche as it gets. Then, we walked across Granville Bridge on a beautiful clear day to Downtown Vancouver. View from Granville Bridge We were walking along Howe Street when my husband suggested we stop by and check out the activities happening in the northern plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery. It was the Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Festival, and we enjoyed Taiwanese Sausage and had a Red Bean Wheel Cake for the first time. If you just got married and have decided to change your last name to your husband's last name, you would need to inform quite a list of organization to make sure they are aware of the legal name change. Below are some of them that I had to deal with in doing this process in British Columbia, Canada. Be ready with a copy of your marriage certificate to start the process. How to change legal name with BC Medical Services Plan (MSP) and in your BC Services Card?
