Food Trip in Richmond (West Cambie): Cactus Club

Happy birthday Therese! =)

We had dinner earlier today to celebrate the birthday of my dearest sister Therese. She chose the Cactus Club Cafe to celebrate her birthday because we haven't tried eating there. She made the 6 PM reservation and thanked God, she did! For a Wednesday evening, the place was packed. We all ordered what we wanted and had dinner.

Appetizer for Everyone: Beef Carpaccio

I had Pesto Chicken Quesadilla.

For mother, Butternut Squash Ravioli with Prawns

Therese had Four Mushroom Sirloin.

It is Therese's first birthday celebration in Vancouver and our first in Canada with the family complete. Food was surprisingly great. I have always assumed that fine dining restaurants are just expensive because of the ambiance and service, but Cactus Club offers excellent food. I would gladly come back for the Quesadilla.
