Pangasinan: Family, Love, and View

Last April 9 (Thursday), was a holiday in the Philippines. Jomar and I decided to tag along with my father to his home province in Pangasinan, Philippines. It was a short tiring trip on a hot summer day. Nonetheless, Jomar and I had fun taking Panorama and Photosphere photos. We also visited The Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag.

Happy Canada Day! Our celebration began last night when we had dinner at the only Indigenous restaurant in Vancouver, Salmon n' Bannock. We enjoyed Elk Steak and Bison Soup, among other dishes. Today, our day started with breakfast at Tim Hortons. It's as cliche as it gets. Then, we walked across Granville Bridge on a beautiful clear day to Downtown Vancouver. How much does a wedding in Manila Cathedral cost?

Jomar and I will have our Philippine Catholic wedding in July. To enlighten those who want to have their Sacrament of Holy Matrimony in the beautiful and historic Manila Cathedral, I will share with you how much it cost. Why did we pick Manila Cathedral? I want to say that because it's historic and beautiful. But honestly, it's because Manila Cathedral has relevant information on their website for a couple like us living and already legally married abroad. Ms. Donna also responds to our emails and calls promptly. The bonus is it's historic and beautiful. According to one of my Ninang, " ang haba ng walk down the aisle mo ." I didn't think of that. First Weekend of Summer 2023

Summer officially began on June 21, the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. The first summer weekend is busy, and we're blessed with beautiful sunny weather. Friday: Road Trip to White Rock, BC The weekend began when we took a drive from Vancouver to South Surrey, BC. It's my penultimate Friday at my current work. After dropping off company-issued devices (laptop, monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc.), we drove to White Rock, BC. The sun illuminated the horizon, and it was low-tide, exposing the rocky seafloor filled with people sunbathing. Thank God for the beautiful scenery.
