Pangasinan: Family, Love, and View

Last April 9 (Thursday), was a holiday in the Philippines. Jomar and I decided to tag along with my father to his home province in Pangasinan, Philippines. It was a short tiring trip on a hot summer day. Nonetheless, Jomar and I had fun taking Panorama and Photosphere photos. We also visited The Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag.

How much does a wedding in Manila Cathedral cost?

Jomar and I will have our Philippine Catholic wedding in July. To enlighten those who want to have their Sacrament of Holy Matrimony in the beautiful and historic Manila Cathedral, I will share with you how much it cost. Why did we pick Manila Cathedral? I want to say that because it's historic and beautiful. But honestly, it's because Manila Cathedral has relevant information on their website for a couple like us living and already legally married abroad. Ms. Donna also responds to our emails and calls promptly. The bonus is it's historic and beautiful. According to one of my Ninang, " ang haba ng walk down the aisle mo ." I didn't think of that. Canada Day 2023

Happy Canada Day! Our celebration began last night when we had dinner at the only Indigenous restaurant in Vancouver, Salmon n' Bannock. We enjoyed Elk Steak and Bison Soup, among other dishes. Today, our day started with breakfast at Tim Hortons. It's as cliche as it gets. Then, we walked across Granville Bridge on a beautiful clear day to Downtown Vancouver. View from Granville Bridge We were walking along Howe Street when my husband suggested we stop by and check out the activities happening in the northern plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery. It was the Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Festival, and we enjoyed Taiwanese Sausage and had a Red Bean Wheel Cake for the first time.
