Vancouver Chinese Garden: Love and Peace
Jomar and I spent the afternoon in the Sun Yat-Sen Park and Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. It was our first time to the west side of Downtown Vancouver, and there were a lot of homeless people.
Sun Yat-Sen Park
It is a free public park built in a Chinese style, with mostly North American materials. It is connected to the Classical Chinese Garden by a pond.

It costs $14.00 to enter the Chinese Garden which includes unlimited tea and a guided tour. By area, it is much smaller compared to the adjacent park, but it is well-maintained.
There are many sections to the Classical Chinese Garden and here are my photos of each part. Though short (comparing to our previous adventures), we had a great time walking around the park and garden, We learned who Dr. Sun Yat-Sen was and even tried calligraphy.
