Season and Life Changes

We are now experiencing beautiful, crisp, and a bit cold Fall weather in Vancouver. It's so beautiful. The seasons are one of the reasons I decided to stay in Canada.

I am blessed to experience and see the seasons with Jomar. :)

Other than seasons changing, I got a haircut after 15 months, and I will be leaving Gumstix after more than 4 years.

Before and After Haircut - I love Suki, and I think I just found my forever salon here in Canada.

Growing up in the Philippines, I only heard of the famous Philly Cheesesteak in movies or when watching Food Network. Thus, it shouldn't come as a surprise that last Satuday was the first time I tried a Philly Cheesesteak from The American Cheesesteak Co. in Vancouver. I have an uncle and cousins in Philadelphia and when I visit my goal is to try a Philly Cheesesteak while in Philly. Jomar and I went to St. Paul's Hospital for the last weekend of Lights of Hope and decided to have dinner here. Why? First, it's close to Granville Street where we will take the bus going home and second, I remember seeing the You Gotta Eat Here episode featuring them. How much does a wedding in Manila Cathedral cost?

Jomar and I will have our Philippine Catholic wedding in July. To enlighten those who want to have their Sacrament of Holy Matrimony in the beautiful and historic Manila Cathedral, I will share with you how much it cost. Why did we pick Manila Cathedral? I want to say that because it's historic and beautiful. But honestly, it's because Manila Cathedral has relevant information on their website for a couple like us living and already legally married abroad. Ms. Donna also responds to our emails and calls promptly. The bonus is it's historic and beautiful. According to one of my Ninang, " ang haba ng walk down the aisle mo ." I didn't think of that. Food Trip in Kapitolyo: Silantro Fil-Mex Cantina

There are few good Mexican restaurants in Metro Manila. On top of my list for good Mexican food is Ristras. But after trying out the delicious Silantro Fil-Mex in Kapitolyo, I now have a new fave Mexican place. Why do I love this place? Chicken Cheese Quesadilla with Fries Delicious Food. From the cheesy and generous meat of the Nachos to the incredibly cheesy quesadilla, and the indescribable and delightful burrito, I am hands-down in heaven during the two hours of eating here.
