April 2020: Spring is here!

Since this is a travel blog (at least it's supposed to be), COVID-19 has made it challenging to travel. For April, spring is finally here, and the flowers near our home are in bloom.

Staying home is not fun, but these beautiful flowers make things so much better.

I've been to Baguio a couple of times and have shared my experiences in this blog ( Baguio-Bontoc Adventure and Places to Visit in Baguio ). This particular visit is special because I am going there to do what I love, share with educators what I know and how they could maximize Google Apps. We arrived a little after 3:00 AM which makes the travel time just 4 hours between Manila and Baguio! We took a cab going to my favourite hotel in Baguio, Azalea Residences . The person at the front desk said that they have to charge us for two nights already since there's an early check-in charge. I was too tired and sleepy to argue, even if I am worried since I have a limited budget for this trip. How much does a wedding in Manila Cathedral cost?

Jomar and I will have our Philippine Catholic wedding in July. To enlighten those who want to have their Sacrament of Holy Matrimony in the beautiful and historic Manila Cathedral, I will share with you how much it cost. Why did we pick Manila Cathedral? I want to say that because it's historic and beautiful. But honestly, it's because Manila Cathedral has relevant information on their website for a couple like us living and already legally married abroad. Ms. Donna also responds to our emails and calls promptly. The bonus is it's historic and beautiful. According to one of my Ninang, " ang haba ng walk down the aisle mo ." I didn't think of that. Queen Elizabeth Park: Family, Experience, and View

Since I am new to Canada, it's my first time to experience Spring. I am excited to see how the environment will change with the season change. Therese was so enthusiastic about the Sakura Illumination , but for weather reasons, they moved it to April 1. Nonetheless, our family decided to visit the park to see Spring colours come back to life! Sadly, not all flowers are in full bloom yet, but we did have some great photos to take with us. More importantly, we had some family quality time.
