Food Trip in Maginhawa: Katsu Cafe

Last Saturday, +Jomar and I went to Maginhawa for some personal matters and well, to eat. We decided to try Katsu Cafe along the very long and food heaven Maginhawa Street.
Gyoza, Chicken Katsu Set, and Chicken Katsu Curry Rice

The ambiance of Katsu Cafe is not very Japanese though I supposed this was to be expected since the ambiance in Crazy Katsu is the same. Food wise, I like the Chicken Katsu Jomar ordered. It was crispy and quite tasty. I had my usual Chicken Katsu Curry Rice and Gyoza. The Katsu Curry is fine (nothing special and it's not the best I've tried). The Gyoza is worst. It was way too sweet. I can't believe that Gyoza would be sweet. I don't think I'll be coming back.

Review of Joy Bus: The Deluxe Coach of Genesis Transport, Inc.

During my trip to Baguio last March 2, 2013, Jomar and I (as recommended by friends) decided to try the Joy Bus of Genesis. We went to the bus terminal the day before just to make sure we have a ticket going to Baguio and asked for the cell phone number of the person to contact in Baguio so we could reserve our returning ticket. Reservation Number in Baguio 0906-591-6011. She doesn't reply though.

Vacation in South Korea

Last October 7 to 10, 2011, I was given a chance to visit South Korea. I was able to see a glimpse of Seoul, Busan (Pusan), and Daegu. I will share our planned and actual itinerary, budget and actual spending, places I suggest you see based on what I saw, and food to try. For this vacation I was with current and former office mates.

Day 1 - October 7, 2011
Our flight departed Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3, Manila, Philippines bound for Gimhae International Airport, Busan (Pusan), South Korea. Our flight with Cebu Pacific was 15 minutes delayed. I would say that as compared to my flights with Philippine Airlines (PAL) during my US and Hong Kong trip, CebuPac was way far better even if it's delayed. We left at around 4:30pm and arrived in Busan 9:30pm because of the time difference. It seems that the flight is 5 hours long, even if it was only 4 hours! Oh, before I forget I highly recommend the Ham and Cheese Croissant for P100.
